Growing in Knowing about Jesus

"Were not our hearts burning within us as he spoke to us along the way and opened the scriptures to us?" (Luke 24:32 Road to Emmaus)

And so it is, that we desire to grow the more we know about Jesus!  God gives us time to mature in our understanding. Every time we look at it the same living word of God is able to affect us in a new way, calling us to conversion and helping us to be made perfect by God's grace.

There are many opportunities within our parishes to grow in your faith, no matter what your age. So, check them out, attend a meeting, and allow the Lord to set your faith on fire as he did on the Road to Emmaus!

Something for All Ages and All Stages of Faith

Retreats

Throughout the year there are retreats available for a closer encounter with God. Examples include: TEC, Castaway, Steubenville, Koinonia, Engaged Encounter, Marriage Encounter, and Rachel's Vineyard.  We also like to host an annual retreat at our parishes for adults who are perhaps too busy to drive longer distances for a retreat. More...

Early Catholic Family Life (ECFL)

Our parish has begun a program similar to ECFE, but with a focus on growing our Catholic faith. Families with children 0-5 meet the first Sunday of the month after the 8:30AM Mass at St. Ann's. They begin with breakfast in the parish center and make their way over to the ECFL room in the office building. There they begin with age appropriate activities where the children and parents work together. The parents and school age children then separate and the parents have time to discuss a topic related to Catholic parenting and network with other parents. Contact Victoria Bulcher at vbulcher@saintanns.net for more information.
