Becoming a Catholic Christian

Interested in learning more about the Catholic Church, maybe even becoming a member?  Jesus loves taking on new disciples, and our Catholic tradition has two millennia of experience in helping people grow closer to God. Has the Lord been nudging you to take a look?

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the program we use today to help initiate disciples as members of the Church.   Those who enroll in RCIA meet during the fall and winter months to learn what it means to follow Jesus.  The Rites of Initiation (Baptism & Confirmation) are typically carried out during the celebration of the Easter Vigil Mass, wherein catechumens are baptized and candidates are confirmed into the Catholic Church as full members.
