Paula Johnson, MS, MA, LMFT

She began her undergraduate in 2003 from Minneapolis Metropolitan College in Psychology, received her Master of Science in Psychology in Mental Health Counseling from Walden online, a Graduate Certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Cloud State University, and a Masters of Arts in Theology from Steubenville University in 2015.

Her counseling perspective is somewhat eclectic, with a methodology of cognitive/behavioral, psychodynamic, systemic approach in family interactions, and building on the strengths that clients already possess. Paula sees the struggles that bring clients to counseling as beneficial to bringing things out in the open to heal from past traumas, thoughts, beliefs, and actions so that what is false can be replaced by God’s truth. This leads to a different way of perception, thinking, believing, and acting.
