Mass Attendance Guidelines During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, diocesan and state guidelines require us to adhere to a few new requirements:

+ The dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass remains in effect. Although mitigating measures are in place, you could be exposed to Covid-19 while at Mass. Please use your best judgement.

+ Video streaming and recordings of the Mass will continue online.

+ Seating in the parish nave is limited to 25% of the seating capacity. Please arrive early enough to be seated before Mass begins.

+ Please wait at the south elevator entrance (Wadena) or at the bell tower entrance (Bluffton). Ushers will guide you to a pew.

+ At St. Ann's, overflow seating will be provided in the Parish Hall.

+ Social distancing (~6ft.) must be followed while on campus by those not of the same household.

+ Hands must be sanitized upon entering and exiting the building.

+ All are encouraged to wear a face mask during weekend
Mass. Ministers of Holy Communion must wear a face
mask while distributing Holy Communion.

+ All are strongly encouraged to receive Holy Communion
in the hand until further notice; no one choosing to receive on the tongue will be denied Holy Communion.

+ Singing is omitted during this time; instrumental music
will be used.

+ Parishioners are asked to remain in their pew after Mass
and will be excused by the ushers.

+ Offerings and gifts may be dropped in the indicated collection basket or collection point on your way into the nave.

+All hymnals and books have been removed from the pews. Bring your own missal or copy of the reading if you wish.

+ If you have any questions, look for parish staff. They will be ushering and will be wearing a red vest.
